    It is very apprent that IP addresses have been changed to vote over and over for a song. Its hard to prove. Thats why each person that votes should be required to have a valid email address, contact info, Name ect.
    The Texas Music Awards , Houston Press Awards and many other voting type contests are done this way.
    I have strong doubts that certain people actually have 1000's of fans and pack out stadiums in here. So it leads me to believe that this could cause this type of voting accept through changing the IP address on a computer and re-voting 1000 times or more. It takes years to build a following and doesnt happen over night. This is not a bash people email its just an out side look at what is going on and has nothing to do with a "song"

    Well if we had known you could submit a elec. song then we would have. All songs are supposed to be acoustic. But thats another story I guess should have been made clearer.
    We have had several songs on main stream radio. Two from our first debut album. Which are still played currently.

    Hey i just wanted to clear some things up so there might not be any more confusion with this whole voting process and what not.

    1. 106.9's website saves the IP address of each computer that votes.
    therefore you cannot vote more than once per computer.

    2. We sent in our song Monday evening. So.. I guess we sent it in on time?

    3. We aren't on a label, or sponsored.
    I sold my car to pay for most of the last record. haha!

    4. we haven't updated our website since 2007.. haha. we play alot though.

    And as for Gatlin having a producer, label, and sponsors. You are wrong. I am a personal friend and know better. Now if what you meant to say was his cd was produced then you are correct.     I really like a few of these bands, but it says to pick an acoustic band. For an acoustic set the best is definitely Blackwood Company.

    (Good lord, can you imagine a Stone Gate acoustic set???)
