![]() | "Fred Loya initially agreed to run the campaign for three months. Based on its success, they decided to extend their campaign with 107-5 The Eagle for the remainder of 2009 and looking forward to 2010." Earl Forbes - Account Manager |
| The Challenge | Fred Loya offers car insurance and has targeted the Hispanic market for many years. They wanted to grow their business by expanding into Houston's general market and needed to increase calls for insurance quotes, especially from adults ages 25- 54. |
| The Resource | Car insurance is something every Houston driver needs (the state mandates it). Fred Loya looked to 107-5 The Eagle and Cox Radio Houston to increase their share of this competitive general market. |
| The Idea | The best way to establish Fred Loya's credibility with our listeners was through a high frequency, personal endorsement campaign using a station personality. We chose afternoon drive host Scott Sparks to be Loya's spokesman. Scott's highly effective sixty-second recommendations aired in his program (Mon-Fri 3PM-7PM), and in other times throughout the day. For additional exposure and frequency, we supplemented Scott's messages with announcements recorded by other station personalities. This complimentary approach helped extend the company's credibility and increase the call volume for quotes. |
| The Results | Fred Loya has been very pleased with the results, experiencing a tremendous increase in general market call volume. Initially, the company agreed to run the endorsement program for three months. However, after reviewing response and sales results, Fred Loya decided to continue the107-5 The Eagle campaign through the rest of 2009. Additionally, Loya plans to expand the program to all of the Cox Radio Houston stations. |
