Four years have passed since the last adventures of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her best gal pals. Carrie and her on-again, off-again lover Big (Chris Noth) are finally in a committed relationship. Samantha (Kim Cattrall), a cancer survivor, is in a monogamous relationship with Smith Jerrod. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and her husband live the good life on Park Avenue, and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), now in Brooklyn, feels the pressure of modern family life.
